When a twelve year old boy is killed in a hit and run Detective Ben Stone and His partner are assigned the case. Unknown to his partner Ben maybe the driver. As the tag line of the movie demonstrates its not the thing we do that defines who we are but rather how we own up to our actions. Several characters in this film will take different paths which will define who they really are.
