SURFACE is a ten-minute short that dives into the aspirations and shortcomings of a hopeful athlete. After failing to make the school swim team, Lou has a paranormal out-of-body experience. With his perception of reality in turmoil, he looks to his mother and best friend for comfort. Can he be pulled out of his disillusion, or is there a more powerful, sinister force at play?
