Writing Memories

"Writing Memories" tells the story of Anton, whose love for his wife Helga is expressed through handwritten notes. Over the years, he writes her birthday cards, turning small rituals into deep moments of connection. As Helga begins to show signs of forgetfulness, Anton's care becomes even more evident. After her passing, he continues the tradition, leaving cards at her empty place to honor their shared memories. Later, his granddaughter Lara takes her place at the table, drawing Helga into Anton´s card and reminding him that memories live on. The film celebrates the enduring power of writing to preserve love and connections across generations.
