Optimistaken is a dramedy that speaks to the plight of young “creatives'' in Kampala trying to make a living for themselves while staying true to their creative aspirations. The story follows Eddy and Daudi, two business and creative partners as they juggle their identities as business owners and filmmakers. This tightrope act lands them in situations that put their partnership to the test.
