Deprived of structures, rules, and authority, the people were left facing themselves. Not united, but fragmented. Everyone for themselves, each with their fears, their instincts, their anger. Anarchy did not emerge as a new freedom, but as a slow erosion: everyday looting, ordinary violence, constant distrust. The old values did not disappear overnight; they simply proved useless. Words no longer protect, laws mean nothing without those who enforce them. Survival becomes a full-time occupation, and morality a luxury few can still afford. This is not a story of heroes. It is an observation. When power collapses, it is not chaos that is born — it is what we already were, without the façade.
