A Gift For Amelia

Growing up in a world of status and appearances, Amelia is forced to conceal the birthmark that forever stains her flesh. Her widowed mother, desperate to rid this evil mark and marry off her daughter, is only further enraged at Amelia's feeble attempts to mask the shame. The mother's madness festers as no doctor is willing to help rid this mark of evil from her daughter's flesh. A doctor approached by the mother, has become captivated by Amelia's beauty. He can taste her pain and desperately wants to free her from the hell the mother has constructed.
