Ryan Paevey has made his appearance on Hearts of Stars and has proven why he is so beloved. From the sibling banter between Ryan and Jennifer to his amazing ability to stuff his mouth with sushi, Ryan kept the fun times rolling throughout both of his episodes. He also revealed some interesting facts about himself that even his biggest fans may not have known before. Before his breakthrough role in General Hospital, Ryan was modeling to make some extra money. Ryan has expressed regret about his modeling career. The gigs led to many photos that he wished he never took.

When he’s not on set or working on his jewelry line, Ryan loves to indulge in his favorite food – sushi. He is even more fortunate that his best friend is a manager of a sushi restaurant… a match made in heaven.
Ryan’s love for the outdoors and adrenaline-pumping activities started at a young age. One of his favorite activities as a teenager was downhill skateboarding. This exciting pursuit led to many injuries for the actor.
Ryan’s creative streak extends beyond acting and modeling. He is also a self-taught guitarist. Ryan learned to play the guitar by watching instructional videos online and practicing for hours. He showcased some of that talent in his interview with Jennifer Silliman.
Ryan’s on-screen role as a surfer in the Hallmark movie “Two Trips To Paradise” was not just acting. He got the chance to surf while filming the movie. Ryan described the experience as “super exciting”.
Ryan Paevey After He Shattered His Wrist
Ryan’s love for excitement also led to a painful accident in 2015. He shattered his wrist in a motorcycle accident during a camping event with friends. The motorcycle, which he named Lillith, needed to be fixed and he had to undergo surgery. But, Ryan’s optimistic and resilient nature helped him recover quickly, and he was soon back to work at General Hospital.

Some of Ryan’s first roles before becoming the notorious Nathan West were in music videos for popular singers like Toni Braxton in “Hands Tied” and Christina Aguilera in“Your Body”. His good looks and charisma made him a natural fit for music videos, but he had more lofty aspirations.
People may not know that Ryan Paevey is a huge fan of video games and one of his favorite video games is The Last of Us. It’s actually in his top 5 video games of all time to be exact.
Ryan was almost cast as The Deep in Amazon’s hit series The Boys. However, the role eventually went to Chace Crawford. He also almost got cast as Magnum P.I. but lost the role to Jay Hernandez.
Ryan is an entrepreneur that has created an outdoor adventure inspired business based in Los Angeles, California. His business, Fortunate Wanderer sells apparel, pendants, cuffs, beads, rings, and found silver.
