David started out creating his own opportunities. His debut starring role came in “Following Chase,” a short film he penned himself. Working with director Greg Koorhan, the short film is a simple story about two soldiers struggling to stay undetected in enemy territory. After graduating from Juilliard in 2016, Corenswet began his professional journey in minor television roles, appearing in shows like “Elementary” and “House of Cards.” His breakthrough came in 2019 when he became a series regular in Ryan Murphy’s series “Hollywood.” In a relatable role for the up and coming actor, David portrayed an aspiring actor moonlighting as a gas station attendant.
