How Reveel Turned a Small Podcast Into a Thriving Talk Show

Jennifer Silliman becomes another addition to the long list of Reveel creators who have leveraged the platform to discover a dedicated audience for their content.

Initially launched on YouTube, Jennifer’s show Hearts of Stars has flourished on Reveel and has evolved into a thriving community that is increasingly recognized in the realm of uplifting entertainment. Jennifer attributes partnering with Reveel for the show’s recent accomplishments, acknowledging the platform’s instrumental role in the show’s success and enhancing its overall quality.

1. What were some of the goals that you had before you put Hearts of Stars on Reveel?

My podcast started out as a Zoom-style interview series but I wanted to turn it into an on-location interview show. I also wanted to reach a much larger audience than what I could at the time.

2. Where did you distribute Heart of Stars before putting the show on Reveel?

I used all of the traditional digital channels. Social media. Youtube. I also had a website.

3. What were some of the challenges you faced with the show at that time?

Time! It is very time-consuming to manage and organize all of my social media accounts. Along with everything post-production related, those tasks take a lot of energy and being by myself, I didn’t have a lot of bandwidth to keep up with everything.

4. How did you discover Reveel and what were some of the reasons you decided to work with us?

Reveel actually discovered me! I met William, Co-Founder of Reveel Entertainment, at a fan event and we met up soon after to talk about my podcast. It was an easy choice. I needed Reveel in order to grow my show and loved all the ideas they had for Hearts of Stars. I wouldn’t have been able to do what I do now without them.

5. What were some of the immediate benefits you noticed when you released Hearts of Stars on our streaming platform?

The audience reach for Hearts of Stars expanded exponentially when it went on Reveel. The quality of the show as a whole also reached new heights, becoming an engaging on-location interview series with an exceptional standard of production quality.

6. How did collaborating with Reveel change the trajectory of your show?

You know, when I was doing everything on my own for Hearts of Stars—managing social media, planning, shooting, editing, and marketing—it was quite a challenge. Now that I have a social media team, the show has skyrocketed in terms of reaching a much larger audience. We have even created a community of dedicated fans otherwise known as Starsies!

7. How has working with Reveel benefitted you specifically?

The best part is having a team and not having to do everything by myself. Having other people to bounce ideas off of or an entire team that handles post-production, gives me more time to focus on planning and reaching out to more celebrity guests. I think the whole show has improved as a result!

Yes, absolutely! I would highly recommend other creators and businesses collaborate with Reveel. It’s a great platform that truly cares about their subscribers. It’s one of the best viewing experiences one can have.

9. What are some of your plans for the next season of Hearts of Stars?

Overall, we’re looking to expand the brand with merchandise, etc.  We also plan to do more zoom-style interviews or social media content.
